Volunteering in Connections Minstry
Volunteering in our Connections Ministry offers a unique opportunity to serve others and build meaningful relationships within our church community. As a volunteer, you become a welcoming presence for newcomers, helping them feel at home and connect with others in the church.
Planning Intergenterational Events
Throughout the year
A volunteer who plans intergenerational events takes on the responsibility of coordinating activities that bring together different age groups within the church community. Their role involves brainstorming event ideas, selecting themes, and organizing logistics for events that foster connection and shared experiences across generations. This includes working with other ministry leaders, coordinating resources, and ensuring that all ages are engaged and included in the planning process. The time commitment involves attending quarterly planning meetings to discuss upcoming events, offer input, and collaborate with the team. Additionally, volunteers assist during the events themselves, ensuring everything runs smoothly, helping set up, facilitating activities, and supporting participants. This role allows for creativity in designing events that strengthen relationships within the church family and promote fellowship across all ages.
5th Sunday Breakfast
Approximately once a quarter
Volunteering to provide food items for our 5th Sunday Breakfast is a great way to contribute to our church community by offering a warm meal for fellowship. Each quarter, volunteers are asked to bring dishes that will be enjoyed by members of all ages, creating an opportunity for connection and conversation. By sharing your time and cooking skills, you help nourish both the body and spirit of those who gather for this special event.
