Care
Ministry

Our Care Ministry is dedicated to ensuring that everyone—first-time guest, longtime member, and shut-in—feels welcome, loved, and supported. From the moment someone walks through our doors, we strive to extend Christ’s love through hospitality and personal connection. For those unable to attend in person, our team reaches out with visits, calls, and encouragement, ensuring they remain a valued part of our church family. Whether through prayer, support, or simply a listening ear, we are committed to walking alongside each person in their faith journey with compassion and grace.

Shut-In Ministry

Our Care Ministry sends thoughtful cards to shut-ins and, when flowers are donated, delivers them to those unable to attend services. This ministry is a meaningful way to show love and care to members of our congregation who may be isolated or unable to join us in person.

Pet Ministry

At St. John’s, we believe God’s love extends to all creation — including our four-legged, feathered, and even scaly family members. Our Pet Ministry celebrates the joy, comfort, and companionship animals bring into our lives.

This ministry is a place for animal lovers to connect, serve, and support one another. From blessing of the animals services to community outreach, educational events, and care support for pet owners, we seek to reflect Christ’s compassion in the way we care for God’s creatures.

Whether you’re a lifelong pet parent, grieving the loss of a beloved companion, or simply passionate about animal welfare, there’s a place for you here. Together, we honor the special bond between people and pets — and the Creator who made them all.

“The righteous care for the needs of their animals.” — Proverbs 12:10
