volunteering in Youth Ministry

Volunteering in our Youth Ministry with UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) provides a great opportunity to connect with and mentor the next generation of church leaders. As a volunteer, you'll assist with organizing and leading activities, Bible studies, retreats, and service projects that encourage spiritual growth and foster community among the youth. By giving your time, you play an important role in guiding and supporting young people as they grow in their faith and develop lifelong relationships with God and others.

Volunteering as a chaperone at fun youth events or overnight trips is a fantastic way to build relationships with the youth in our church while ensuring their safety and well-being. As a chaperone, you'll assist with supervision, help facilitate activities, and provide guidance and support throughout the event or trip. Your involvement creates a safe and enjoyable environment for the youth to grow in their faith, experience fellowship, and create lasting memories.

Volunteering as a Confirmation Mentor offers the opportunity to guide and support youth as they navigate the important process of confirmation. As a mentor, you will build a relationship with your assigned youth, offering encouragement, answering questions, and sharing your own faith journey. This role is integral in helping confirmands understand and embrace their faith, providing them with a trusted adult figure who can help them deepen their connection with God and the church community.

Supporting youth fundraisers throughout the year is a great way to invest in the growth and development of our youth ministry. Whether it's helping with event organization, promoting the fundraiser, or donating items, your involvement makes a significant impact on the success of these efforts. Your support ensures that youth can participate in retreats, mission trips, and other meaningful experiences, while also strengthening their sense of community and purpose within the church.
