Greeters
Volunteering as a greeter is an important role that helps create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who enters our church. As a greeter, you'll warmly greet attendees, offer them information about services or events, and help newcomers feel comfortable and connected. The time commitment for this role is one month a year, during which you will serve on Sundays at either our 8:30 or 11:00am service, ensuring that all who attend have a positive and inviting experience as they enter the church.
Member Care Team
Volunteering on our Member Care Team offers a chance to support fellow church members during difficult times and celebrate significant life moments. Volunteers provide meals to families going through challenging circumstances, ensuring they feel cared for and supported. Additionally, you’ll send cards of encouragement and help welcome new babies by offering assistance to families during this joyful transition, creating a loving and compassionate presence in their lives.
Shut-In Ministry
Volunteering as a Shut-In Ministry member involves reaching out to those who are unable to attend church in person due to health or mobility issues. Your responsibilities include writing heartfelt cards of encouragement and prayer to let them know they are remembered and loved by the congregation. Additionally, you may help arrange for the delivery of donated flowers, bringing a tangible symbol of care and connection to brighten their day and remind them of their place in the church family.
Funeral Support Team
Volunteering on our Funeral Support Team offers compassionate care to families who are grieving the loss of a loved one in our church community. Volunteers provide memorial meals for grieving families, offering comfort and support during a difficult time. Additionally, you may serve as an usher at funerals, helping with logistics and creating a respectful atmosphere, or assist in other ways, ensuring the funeral process is smooth and the family feels surrounded by love and care from their church family.
First-Time Guest Team
Volunteering in the First-Time Guest Team involves creating a warm and inviting experience for newcomers to our church. Volunteers prepare welcome bags filled with helpful information and small gifts to make guests feel appreciated and informed about our church community. Additionally, you’ll write personalized cards to first-time guests, offering a thoughtful and welcoming gesture that encourages them to return and get involved.
Prayer Team
Volunteering on our Prayer Team involves lifting up the needs of the church community through focused, heartfelt prayer. Team members commit to praying for specific requests, whether they are for individuals, families, or broader church concerns, helping to support and encourage others spiritually. By joining the Prayer Team, you play a vital role in fostering a strong prayer network, bringing comfort and healing through the power of prayer.
