YOUTH LEAD MISSIONS
CARE CENTER FOOD DRIVE
Every year for the month of November
the UMYF collects Thanksgiving themed
canned goods for our local Fort Mill
Care Center. The care center provides
assistance with food, fuel, power, heat,
and medicine to the citizens of
Fort Mill, SC.
ANGEL TREE
The “Angel Tree” is the UMYF's annual community mission project that provides Christmas gifts for less fortunate children & their families. We receive each family’s wishes through the Fort Mill Care Center. Church members help purchase the gifts and UMYF delivers!
Angel Tree donations begin
November 18, 2018. Youth will set up
the tree from 12:15 to 5:30PM in the
Fellowship Center. Youth will deliver
gifts on December 16, 2017 from
12:15 to 5:30PM (pizza or sub-sandwich
lunch provided both days).

SALKEHATCHIE SUMMER SERVICE
What is Salkehatchie? Salkehatchie Summer Service is a pioneering servant ministry at selected sites in South Carolina involving high school and college age youth, adult community leaders, and persons of different cultures in upgrading housing, motivating community cooperative efforts by helping persons to help themselves, and providing all participants with opportunities for personal growth and service.
Washings of Hope
Every quarter the Youth provide a local laundry mat with washing powders and dryer sheets. This project started from two ladies who wanted a way to help those who needed laundry detergent. Our 2019 Confirmation class began the project and it will be continued through the Youth.
