Kindness Week

Join us as we kick off **Kindness Week 2025** with a time of reflection and preparation, setting our hearts on the mission ahead. This special gathering will be a chance to pray, get inspired, and pick up your **Kindness Week** shirts as we get ready to serve and spread love throughout our community!

Friday, July 18 @ 6:00 P.M.

We’ll be assembling **chalk kits** for families to take home and use to spread uplifting messages throughout their neighborhoods. This simple yet powerful act of kindness will brighten sidewalks with words of encouragement, reminders of hope, and expressions of love for all to see!

Kits available to take home: Sunday, July 20 during our morning worship services. 

We’ll be transforming the **Fellowship Hall** into a hub of generosity as we prepare for our **Day of Giving Back**! Volunteers will help set up donation stations, organize supplies, and create a welcoming space where our community can come together to give and serve.

On our **Day of Giving Back**, we’ll collect donations from the community and ensure they reach the local non-profits that serve those in need. Together, we’ll turn generosity into action, living out our mission to **love, serve, and transform the world**!

As part of **Kindness Week 2025**, we’ll be creating heartfelt cards filled with **encouraging messages, prayers, and love** for residents of local nursing homes. These small but meaningful gestures will brighten their day and remind them that they are cherished and not alone.​

We’ll be delivering donated items to Tender Hearts, ensuring they reach individuals and families in need.​  These items will be taken up during the Day of Giving Back

Saturday, July 19 @ 2:30 P.M.

We’ll be assembling snack bags filled with treats and drinks to show appreciation for our hardworking delivery drivers. These small tokens of gratitude will remind them that their efforts are valued and bring a smile to their day.​

Sunday, July 20 @ 2:00 P.M.

Join us for a special **Blessing of the Pets** during **Kindness Week 2025**, where we’ll celebrate and honor our furry friends with prayers for their health and happiness. In addition, we’ll be hosting a **donation drive for the local humane shelter**, collecting items to support animals in need and ensure they receive the care they deserve.​

Sunday, July 20 @ 5:30 P.M.

We’ll be assembling Hospital Hero Kits to express care for those who have to stay unexpectedly overnight.  These kits will be filled with snacks, self-care items, and uplifting notes to brighten their day.

Monday, July 21 @ 10:00 A.M.

We’ll be assembling first aid kits to donate to the local homeless shelter, providing essential supplies for those in need. These kits will offer comfort and support, helping to address basic health needs for individuals facing challenging circumstances.

Monday, July 21 @ 1:00 P.M.

We’ll be crafting dog toys to donate to the local humane shelter, ensuring that pets waiting for their forever homes have something fun and comforting. This simple act of kindness will help brighten the lives of both animals and their caregivers.​

Join us as we set to making 400 sandwiches to donate to Roof Above, a local organization providing shelter and support to individuals experiencing homelessness. This effort will provide a simple but essential meal, helping to nourish both the body and spirit of those in need.

We’ll be delivering donated items to Fort Mill Care Center, ensuring they reach individuals and families in need.​  These items will be taken up during the Day of Giving Back​

We will be hosting a 30-minute session designed to assist those with technology needs, offering guidance on everything from setting up devices to navigating essential apps and online services. Whether you’re new to technology or just need a little extra help, this session will provide the support and tools to feel more confident in today’s digital world.

During **Kindness Week 2025**, we’ll be creating **flashcards** to donate to schools in the Charlotte area, helping students with their learning and development. These flashcards will provide valuable educational resources for teachers and students, making learning more engaging and accessible.

As part of **Kindness Week 2025**, we’ll be hosting a **drive-thru coffee and breakfast event** for the community, offering free coffee and breakfast treats to start the day with a smile. It’s a simple way to spread joy, connect with our neighbors, and show appreciation for all who serve and support our community.
